Great Lakes Secondary School!
Home of the Wolfpack!
Principal: Mr. P. Wiersma
Officer Supervisor: Mrs. N. Harrett
Grad photo sessions will be held from December 5 to 14. Sessions are $35, which includes 12-16 proofs and a class composite. A cap and gown will be provided. Book your session online at www.lifetouch.ca/qkgrads. Gentlemen: a shirt and tie are a must for your cap and gown photos. Ladies: a collared blouse or a scoop neck shirt for under the gown creates a nice classic look.
All graduating students are asked to have their grad photo taken so it is included in the class composite and yearbook. There is no fee for this.
Students who do not have their grad picture taken through the school will not have their picture in the composite or yearbook.
Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
The Great Lakes Secondary School Men's Rugby team would like to invite all students, alumni, parents and community members to our 4th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser! The event will take place on Wednesday December 7th from 5-7 pm in the Great Lakes Secondary Cafeteria.
We are looking forward to welcoming all alumni of both, St. Clair and Sarnia Collegiate. We look forward to breaking bread with old friends and new. Tickets are $10.00 and will be on sale through the school and at the door.
See you on the December 7th!
GLSS Men's Rugby Coaching Players & Staff
The Great Lakes Key Club is holding a toy drive for the Inn of the Good Shepherd from November 28 to December 20. Toys that are new or clean and gently used are welcome for children aged one through fifteen. Sporting goods and gift cards are also welcome. While toys will be brought in by students, the public is also welcome to drop toys off at the school in the decorated bins within the front doors of the school. The Key Club is hoping to collect as many toys as possible to ensure that every child in Sarnia receives a gift during the holiday season.
The first ever edition of the Great Lakes Secondary School Yearbook is still available for purchase. We will extend our current price of $50 until the end of December, after which we will begin to charge $60. Yearbooks make excellent holiday gifts and, if desired, we can provide certificates for under the tree (the books won’t arrive until June). Please don’t delay in purchasing as we must provide the yearbook plant with order numbers in the next few weeks. As a result, we cannot guarantee that extras will be available to purchase in June. To purchase, see Mr. Stewardson.
