The School Letter

The GLSS School Letter is awarded to a student who demonstrates excellence in school involvement and academics throughout their high school career.

Students who are in grades ten, eleven, and twelve will have the opportunity to have their past school involvement at either St. Clair or SCITS accounted for via the tracking page.  Students are encouraged to hand in their tracking sheets to Student Services upon the completion of an activity.

Final Exams

Final exams will be written January 27 to February 1.  Please see the exam schedule for more information.  February 1 will be used as an exam day if buses are canceled on any of the previous exam days.  Students who do not write their exams will receive a mark of zero unless there are exceptional circumstances such as illness supported through medical documentation or bereavement.  Vice-Principal C. White should be contacted as soon as possible in these situations.

Students who have "demonstrated their learning" in grade nine and ten applied courses or in grade nine academic courses will have the option of not writing the exam.  Students will be informed on Wednesday, January 25.
